We propose a pilot project to break through an information barrier that has been mostly intractable to us in our quests to use our land to raise human food and drought-resistant alternatives to corn and soybeans. We aim to reframe a discussion with specialty crop experts that is tailored to the needs of women landowners – not just farmers – who are concerned about climate change and the health of our communities.
