Tribal Decision Dashboard

The High Plains Regional Climate Center staff have developed decision dashboards specifically for tribal lands to assist tribal managers with climate monitoring and decision-making. These dashboards pull in data from a wide variety of sources that describe recent, current, and future conditions. Including information for the Rosebud Reservation, Wind River Reservation, and Tribes in EPA Region 7.

Agro-Climate Tools

The High Plains Regional Climate Center provides several tools specifically for the agricultural community. Many of these tools were created through the Useful2Usable project. Such as: AgClimate View, CliGrow, Climate Patterns Viewer, Corn Belt Climate Trends, Corn GDD, Corn Split N, Irrigation Investment. HPRCC has also been a partner on several other projects that may be helpful for producers.

ACPF is a free ArcGIS toolbox that leverages high-resolution geo-spatial data to help local farming communities better address their soil and water conservation needs.

Regional Drought Early Warning Systems (DEWS)

From the National Integrated Drought Information System (NIDIS) for the Missouri River Basin and Midwest.

Iowa Flood Information System (IFIS)

From the Iowa Flood Center, The IFIS is a one-stop web-platform to access community-based flood conditions, forecasts, visualizations, inundation maps and flood-related information, visualizations and applications. Applications include Inundation Maps, Flood Alerts, Stream Conditions and River Community Information.

Iowa Water Quality Information System (IWQIS)

Welcome to the Iowa Water Quality Information System from the Iowa Flood Center. The IWQIS allows access to real-time water-quality data and information such as nitrate, pH, and dissolved oxygen concentrations, discharge rates, and temperature.
